LOS ANGELES >> Six Whittier police officers are headed to trial with their claim they faced retaliation for complaining about an alleged traffic ticket- and arrest-quota system.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Howard L. Halm on Wednesday said Anthony Gonzalez’s case can move forward. It was the sixth such ruling in the past two weeks that went against the city, which had been trying to get the officers’ whistleblower lawsuit dismissed.
