Information Getdismissed Collects:
The information GetDismissed collects about you can be described as either “personally identifiable” or “non-personally identifiable.”
Personally Identifiable Information – When registering for GetDismissed service, and creating your legal documents using the GetDismissed application, you provide us with personal information that is unique to you alone (“Personally Identifiable Information”), including but not limited to:
Personal contact information (name, email address, physical address)
Information appearing on your driver’s license
Information appearing on your traffic ticket citation
Billing information to complete your order
We can’t provide you with our key services without you providing us with some Personally Identifiable Information. To avoid sharing any Personally Identifiable Information with us, do not register with GetDismissed or use our service.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information - We may also collect the following data that is not unique to you, in order to improve our service:
Traffic Data. We may utilize internal and third-party tools to recognize visitor data like IP addresses, browser settings and operating systems, to track for example, how often web pages are viewed and the sources of our traffic, or general demographic information (e.g. age, gender) about visitors to our website. You can always opt out of Google sharing this information at www.google.com/settings/ads.
Email Effectiveness Data. We may collect aggregated data about how often the emails we send out are opened and any links in them are clicked.
App Referral and Download Data. We may use internal and third-party tools to determine which sites or emails referred visitors to download the GetDismissed mobile application.
In-App Behavior. We may use internal and third-party tools to gather information about users’ behavior inside our mobile application, such as how much time users spend in the app as well as the frequency and duration with which they use particular features and view particular screens.
Will GetDismissed Share My Personal Information?
GetDismissed will only share your Personally Identifiable Information with the appropriate authorities if we believe in good faith that doing so is required by law or court order, to protect our rights or property, or to protect the safety of our users or the public. Additionally, if GetDismissed or substantially all of GetDismissed’s assets are acquired, or if GetDismissed goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information, including Personally Identifiable Information, may be one of the assets that is transferred to or acquired by a third party.
The personally identifiable information that you provide is used to provide the services offered on our website, to improve the content of our web pages, and may be used to provide you with special offers from third parties with whom we hold exclusive partnerships.
By clicking “continue” I provide my signature expressly consenting to contact from GetDismissed.com or its subsidiaries, affiliates, or agents at the number I provided regarding products or services via live, automated or prerecorded telephone call, text message, or email. I understand that my telephone company may impose charges on me for these contacts, and I am not required to enter into this agreement as a condition of purchasing property, goods, or services. I understand that I can revoke this consent at any time.
By entering your email address and or phone number on our website or providing it to us through alternate methods, you authorize us to communicate with you by telephone or email. In order to do this, we may utilize a third party service outside our organization through which the communications will be sent to your phone or email. In some cases, we may communicate with you via text message to send you service alerts, promotions, or other information (standard message and data rates apply). You will have the ability to opt out of these messages.
Can I Opt Out of Emails From GetDismissed?
You can opt out of certain types of emails from GetDismissed while maintaining an active GetDismissed account:
GetDismissed promotional emails. These are emails GetDismissed might send you from time to time alerting you to new features and other news about GetDismissed. You can opt out of these emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email.
System messages. These are emails that are delivered to you as part of GetDismissed’s core functionality. For example, we may email you to alert you that your documents are ready to be viewed and printed. While you may be able to configure the frequency of system messages through your personal settings, you may not opt out of system messages completely except by deactivating your account.
Is Information I Share with GetDismissed Secure?
We strive to maintain the safety of your information. For example, your information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and access to your account information requires a personal identifier unique to you.
Unfortunately, no internet-based service is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that any confidential or Personally Identifiable Information you share while using GetDismissed is maintained at adequate levels of protection to meet your specific needs or obligations. We assume no responsibility for unauthorized access to your information.
How Do I Deactivate My GetDismissed Account?
Should you ever decide to deactivate your GetDismissed account, you may do so by emailing us at gethelp@GetDismissed.com. Upon deactivation, you will no longer be able to access your account, including any pending or completed agreements. Your information and data will remain on GetDismissed’s secure servers.
The GetDismissed Policy Towards Children
Per our Terms of Service, GetDismissed is intended only for users 18 and above. GetDismissed does not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from minor children under the age of 13.
